The Hey Oi! Ice Breaker Regatta 2009

Saturday 12th September 2009 saw a mixed bag of weather, with 4 seasons presenting itself in one day!

We had a great turnout with just on 88 sailors braving the cold waters of Lake Pupuke.  Sailing kick started at 10am and we were pretty much done and dusted by 4pm.  There were quite a few cold bodies floating around during the day as everyone got shocked back into the start of the sailing season.  All in all it was a great day for our sailors and a good preliminary Race before the Winter Champs.
