Day Two on Friday was raced in a steady 20 to 25 knot breeze. Racing saw many capsizes and some gear breakage in the 420 fleet. Thomas Saunders and Chris Steele absolutely dominated the days sailing with four first places, taking themselves into 2nd place overall, 3 points behind Turner and Dunning Beck.
Day Three today was sailed in 6 to 10 know Easterlies. The race committee once again did a superb job getting 4 races underway. Race 1 was very shifty, while Races 2 and 3 saw a steadier breeze across the course. James Turner and Logan Dunning Beck won the first 3 races with the Malaysian men 2nd in each race. In Race 4 the North Easterly sea breeze filled ind uring the second beat and eventually the Malaysian Men won from Thomas Saunders and Christ Steele. The Malaysian Women's crew also put in a consistent performance today and are placed 4th overall ahead of Alex Munro and Luke Stevenson in 5th Place. The top New Zealand women's youth crew are Erica Dawson and Vicky Francis who are currently placed 6th overall.
